According to his family, he passed away on Thursday, June 27 at approximately 7:00 p.m.

His funeral is already being planned, according to the family.

“Dad was a fantastic man who left a lasting impression on everyone he met with his compassion, sense of humor, and commitment to his job. The family lamented Njau, saying, “He was not only the pillar of our family but also a beloved figure in our community.”

Njau reportedly suffered a stroke two weeks ago and has been receiving critical care ever since.

Njau’s co-host on Citizen TV’s Cheche show, David Makali, lamented his passing, describing him as a mentor to many in the business.
